Congratulations to our Silcar Trainees! October 2008 Congratulations to our new Silcar Communications Trainees who are about to complete 6 weeks of ‘Telecommunications’ Training.  Based in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay and Rockhampton, they are the first group of Trainees to be involved in an employment programme of this type in Queensland.  They will continue with on-the-job training throughout the next 12-18 months.  During this time, they will gain a Certificate II and III in Telecommunications. These qualifications will allow them to become pivotal in an exciting time within the Telecommunications Industry in Australia. Congratulations on getting through your intense training and good luck in the field!
